Pinocchio would be proud of them

Truth is one major victim in any war.

Barrages and salvos of lies from both sides accompany the perfectly useless war that has been raging since Feb. 24 between Russia and Ukraine.

Granted, Russia attacked. Also granted, she was using Russian majorities in two Ukrainian regions and their maltreatment by Ukrainian authorities as a reason perfectly misleadingly.

Russian president Vladimir Putin’s rhetoric on this topic has resembled that of convicted war criminal Konrad Henlein. This former SS-Obergruppenführer of combined Czech-German origin (father German, mother Czech), was born in what used to be known as the Sudetenland in northern Bohemia. He was trying to give Nazi Germany’s Führer Adolf Hitler reasons for annexing the area. To achieve this objective, he organised a party of fellow Sudetenland Germans, then Czechoslovak citizens, to demand to be re-united with Germany under the slogan Heim ins Reich (Home to the Empire).

The tragic comparison doesn’t end here: the then-Czechoslovak government was, indeed, guilty of pretty insensitive treatment of its minorities, German-speaking citizens included. Just as a number of modern Ukrainian governments, since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, have been mistreating their Russian-speaking citizens. The only difference: Ukrainian authorities went further down the road. They treated their Russians much harsher than the government in Prague treated their Germans.

Nobody in their right mind would believe that Putin’s sole goal was to save his compatriots. Given the recent revelations of U.S.-subsidised laboratories that operate in Ukraine, working on development and production of biological weapons, and U.S.-subsidised development of so-called dirty nuclear weapons in nuclear facilities in Ukraine, Russia had reason enough to be concerned.

And, given now emerging confirmation that current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C., has had personal stake not only in the lab business, but also in some pretty shady oil and mining companies, it is no longer surprising that he keeps egging the current Ukrainian government on to provoke Russia even more.

Whether all that justified an invasion is another question.

Still, the entire conflict added information to all sides’ arsenals, scaling it up from screeching missiles flying both ways. All sides also introduced strict censorship laws, banning other sides’ information to make its way to their captive citizens’ ears and eyes.

Here’s a rule to remember: anyone imposing any kind of censorship is trying to cover up their share of guilt in whatever they are trying to censor. Bluntly: only guilty minds censor. They fear the truth.

This proves all sides guilty in one way or another.

Shocking statement

Ukraine has stood accused for years of not only permitting but also supporting and promoting Nazism.

Here’s the problem: Ukraine has been guilty as charged, and Western populations don’t know much about this only because their mainstream media haven’t been covering this story.

And now, a Ukrainian TV star named Fakhrudin Sharafmal has confirmed the guilt for all to hear: for his nation to win, Ukraine should exterminate Russian children. Adolf Eichmann, the SS-Obersturmbannführer who had masterminded the so-called Final Solution of the Jewish Question (Endlösung der Judenfrage) has been quoted (and admitted saying so in an Israeli court): “In order to destroy a nation, you must first exterminate its children. Because if you kill their parents, the children will grow up and take revenge. But if you kill the children first, they will never grow up, and the nation will disappear.”

In Ukrainian Channel 24 broadcast, Sharafmal said that Eichmann was right.

Mind, he isn’t alone in expressing such sentiments. Western mainstream media gladly reported on Ukrainian Nazi groups’ exercises three days BEFORE the invasion.

You can read the full transcript of Sharafmal’s statement below, here are but a few highlights: “Since you call me a Nazi, I adhere to the doctrine of Adolf Eichmann, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that you and your children never live on this earth.

“You have to understand that this is not about peace; it is about the victory of the Ukrainian people. We need victory. And if we have to massacre all your families to do it, I’ll be one of the first to do it.”

So far as apologies go, Sharafmal’s was as formally half-hearted as any. In fact, it’s surprising he’d bother at all: Kateryna Kit-Sadova, an independently wealthy lady, and the wife of the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, owns most of Channel 24.

To put into context, a bit of what is called political geography: the western Ukrainian city of Lviv has been known as a gathering spot for ultra-nationalist extremists. Most Ukrainian Nazi collaborators have come from that area.

Why should be shocked that, during Sharafmal’s apology, Ukrainian text reading, “Russian warship, go f*ck yourself!” (a nationalist slogan in the war) appeared on the screen right behind him.

Since we are called Nazis and fascists in Russia, I might as well quote Adolf Eichmann, who said that in order to destroy a nation, you must first exterminate its children. Because if you kill their parents, the children will grow up and take revenge. But if you kill the children first, they will never grow up, and the nation will disappear.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot exterminate Russian children because it is forbidden by the rules of war, and it is prohibited by various conventions, including the Geneva Conventions.

However, I am not from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And when I get the chance to take out the Russians, I will not hesitate.

Since you call me a Nazi, I adhere to the doctrine of Adolf Eichmann, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that you and your children never live on this earth. So that you can feel what it is like when innocent civilians die, so that you can feel all the pain and suffering.

When you say, ‘We didn’t start the war, it was Putin, we didn’t want this war’ – we didn’t want it, either. But you have to understand that this is not about peace; it is about the victory of the Ukrainian people.

We need victory. And if we have to massacre all your families to do it, I’ll be one of the first to do it.

Glory to the Ukrainian nation! Let’s hope that there will never be a nation like Russia and the Russians on this earth again. They are just scum who are destroying this land.

If the Ukrainians have the opportunity, which they are basically doing right now, to destroy, to slaughter, to kill, to strangle the Moskals – I hope that everyone does their part and kills at least one Moskal (an old Ukrainian – and Polish – description of Russians that some call slur).

End of quote

Whether Fakhrudin Sharafmal’s outburst stirred up his people remains to be seen. Whether Fakhrudin Sharafmal helped his nation’s cause, well, it depends: if Western mainstream media carry his speech verbatim, all bets are off.
